DETAILS OF SYMPOSIUM: Lectures will be 30 minutes in duration, followed by discussion periods. The "Discussion" sessions are informal sessions in which participants may directly interact with the faculty. This provides an opportunity for the practicing clinician to discuss in detail their own unique problems, clinical experiences, unusual cases, and/or to cover topics that are not included in the formal program.

ACCREDITATION: This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint sponsorship of the University of Miami Leonard M. Miller School of Medicine and The Division of Neonatology.  The University of Miami Leonard M. Miller School of Medicine is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.


CREDIT DESIGNATION:  The University of Miami Leonard M. Miller School of Medicine designates this educational activity for a AMA PRA Category 1 Credits TM (at this time credits are being applied for). Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in this activity. Continuing Education Units (CEU) will be designated to this educational activity for nurses.

Workshop: $175.00 in addition to the conference registration fee.  Workshop attendance is limited to 150 registrants.

Written notice of cancellation for this symposium must be received no later than October 25, 2009 to qualify for a refund. A $100.00 fee will be charged on all refunds.
